{"id":495,"date":"2026-10-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/torimont.com\/?p=495"},"modified":"2026-10-01T07:57:40","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T11:57:40","slug":"place-your-way-in-his-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/torimont.com\/?p=495","title":{"rendered":"Place Your Way in His Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">October 2 \u2014 Place Your Way in His Hands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scripture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCommit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.\u201d<br><em>Psalm 37:5 (ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCommit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.\u201d<em> (KJV)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Encouragement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes we trust God with our problems while still trying to control the outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We pray, but then we continue planning every possible solution. We surrender something to God, only to pick it back up when His answer does not come quickly enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psalm 37:5 gives us three simple instructions: commit, trust, and allow God to act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To commit our way to the Lord means placing our plans, decisions, desires, and uncertainties into His hands. It is saying, \u201cLord, this belongs to You.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then comes trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trust often requires waiting. God may work differently than we expected. He may open a door we had never considered\u2014or close one we were certain should remain open. He sees circumstances we cannot see and understands how every piece fits together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our responsibility is not to control every detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our responsibility is to faithfully follow Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever you are carrying today, you can place it into God\u2019s hands. Ask Him to guide your steps, correct your plans when necessary, and give you peace while you wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God does not need you to figure everything out before He can lead you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Father, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I commit my plans and concerns to You today. Forgive me when I try to control what I have already placed in Your hands. Give me wisdom to follow where You lead and patience when I have to wait.
