A phone call, an unexpected expense, a change in plans, a difficult conversation, or simply wondering what tomorrow will bring can quickly fill our thoughts with worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psalm 56:3 does not say that we will never be afraid. David said, \u201cWhen I am afraid.\u201d Fear was real\u2014but David knew what to do with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He chose to trust God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trust does not mean pretending everything is fine. It means reminding ourselves that God is still faithful even when circumstances feel uncertain. We may not know what will happen next, but we know the One who does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When fear begins to take over your thoughts today, turn it into a reminder to pray. Tell God exactly what concerns you. Then deliberately place that concern into His hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You do not have to understand everything before you trust Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You simply need to remember who He is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Father, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When fear enters my heart, help me turn quickly to You. Remind me that You know what lies ahead and that nothing surprises You. Help me trust Your wisdom, Your goodness, and Your care for me today. Keep my thoughts focused on You instead of everything that could go wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Jesus\u2019 name, amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">First Step Challenge <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Write down one thing that is causing you fear or uncertainty today.
